On rare occasions a message may appear saying that the application license key is missing or has become corrupt. The most usual cause is that a necessary file was deleted by mistake.
Missing License:
If you receive a Missing License error message, please contact Gravic technical support for assistance at support@gravic.com. We will diagnose the issue and then if applicable, send you a file containing the information you need to recover your license. In the Missing License window, you will browse to the file we send you and then click OK to recover your license.
Corrupt License:
In the case of a corrupt license you will receive a License Recovery error message during the process described above. Please contact Gravic technical support support@gravic.com with the Application license key and Recovery request code that you see in the License Recovery error window. We will then provide you with a recovery code you can enter to restore your license. Once the license is recovered you will need to activate it again, which you will be prompted by the software to do automatically.
Please remember to always transfer your license prior to making system changes (such as reformatting a hard drive). You can transfer the license by clicking Help / Transfer License. If you change your system without first transferring the license, it will likely lead to a corruption.
Special Note for Remark Office OMR 7 users:
If you are using a version prior to version 7.0.3, please update to the 7.0.3 version via our website. We have added functionality to try to reduce the chance of a license corruption. You can check the version by going to Help / About.
