Remark Quick Stats will allow you to add learning objectives (sometimes called subtests) using the Grade Wizard. When learning objectives are used, your test results will show an overall test score along with how well the students scored on the questions that apply to the individual learning objectives. This feature is great for measuring student progress against objectives, such as state mandated standards.

Note: Beginning with Remark Office OMR version 7, it is possible to import learning objectives into the Grade Wizard. For more information, see the Knowledgebase item article "Can I import learning objectives into Remark Office OMR into the Grade Wizard?"

2. Select Tools / Analysis / Grade Wizard.

3. Mark the checkbox for This test contains one or more learning objectives.

4. Customize the various grade wizard steps as you progress until you come to the Learning Objectives step.

5. Enter the names of the learning objectives in the Name box and then click the Add Objective button (one at a time).

6. Select a learning objective in the Learning objectives column.

7. Select the questions that apply to the selected learning objective in the Available Questions column. Double click questions or highlight them and then click the double arrow to move them to the Learning Objectives Box.

8. If desired, apply a benchmark score to each learning objective under Define Benchmark Value. This score indicates the percent score students must achieve in order to master the particular learning objective.

9. Continue through the remaining Grade Wizard steps.

10. Optionally save the Grade Wizard .aky file for reuse.

When the item analysis reports appear, various reports will show the objectives, their benchmark values and how students measured up against them.
