Microsoft does not allow overwriting of files for Excel 2007/2010 in their third party control made available to other applications. Unfortunately we cannot control it.
For this reason we have provided the following workaround for our users:
1. Select Save Data As in the Data Viewer toolbar to save your data.
2. Select the Excel 2007-2010 format under Save as type.
3. Choose the existing Excel file you wish to overwrite. However, add a second sheet to your existing Excel workbook by giving it a new Sheet name. This will allow you to delete the original sheet later and then have only the new sheet.
4. Open the Excel workbook in Excel 2007/2010 and delete the older sheet. You should now only have the new data.
