The minimum system requirements for Remark Test Grading Edition are:

  • Personal computer with 1 GHz or faster processor
  • Windows 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems: XP SP3, Vista SP2 and Windows 7 SP1 (Note: SP stands for "Service Pack")
    • Remark Testing Edition will run on Windows Server 2003 SP2 and Windows 2008 SP2, but please note the software is not a client/server application and is not supported in a virtual or server-based environment
  • 2 GB RAM. Note: If you have multiple instructors accessing the computer running Remark Test Grading Edition, additional RAM is recommended.
  • 2 GB free fixed disk space
  • CD-ROM drive (for installation purposes)
  • Screen/monitor resolution of 1024x768 or higher and at least 32-bit color
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • Supported scanner (recommended)
  • Windows-supported printer
  • PDF viewer for previewing tests and viewing reports (Adobe Acrobat Reader strongly recommended)

NOTE: If you are using a non-adobe PDF reader it must have a browser plug-in to function properly in Remark Test Grading Edition. Your PDF reader has a browser plug-in if you are able to open PDF files from within your web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome). If it does not open files in a browser, you may experience difficulties previewing tests and running reports. We strongly recommend that you download the Adobe Reader if you experience problems with these functions.
