Learn how to use the enhanced Query Parameters feature in Remark Web Survey 5.1 to pass variables into your online web forms AND into your corresponding data. For example, if sending out a course evaluation, you can use Query Parameters to insert the instructor’s name into the email invitation URL. When the web form is submitted, the instructor’s name will be included in the data set. You can also use the Query Parameter value in conjunction with the Answer Piping feature to display information to the respondent (e.g., the instructor’s name in the previous example). This module takes you through creating Query Parameters, emailing recipients invitations that include the Query Parameter values, using Query Parameter values in Answer Piping, and reviewing the resulting data that includes the Query Parameter value.
Learn how to use the many time saving features of the built in email center including: Acquiring email addresses, saving, editing and saving email templates, merging information from the login page (if present) and embedding the respondent's password and username into the web form's URL so that the respondent does not have to log in.
Learn how to use the Respondent Detection feature to see who has and has not completed a web form.
Learn how to control access to your web forms by specifying the time frame that the web form can be accessed or limiting the number of respondents allowed to take the web form.
Learn the easiest quickest way to make questions in a table format required.
Learn how to use the Answer Piping feature in Remark Web Survey to "pipe" a response from one question to a label, question or answer on another part of the web form.
Learn how to create a login page, import passwords, email addresses, names and user names from a database. See how to generate random passwords and more.
Learn how to use sections and columns to format web forms. These two formatting options can help you space your question elements across the page instead of just having questions one beneath the other.
Learn how to use this great feature to add extra optional information (in the form of text or images) that your respondents may need to your web forms.
