Gary Strickler
In this issue, we would like to introduce one of our senior technical leaders, Gary Strickler. Gary currently is a Senior Technologist and leads the Shadowbase product development effort in the creation of continuous processing product solutions based upon our Gravic Labs IP. He originally authored the high performance process-to-process Shadowbase data replication product suite. He is the lead inventor of the patent that makes possible bi-directional replication for log reading data replication solutions (USPTO #6,122,630), and he has numerous other issued and pending patents. He started his software development career as a software consultant over thirty-one years ago after graduating from Maxwell Institute, and is an expert at designing enterprise-class, mission-critical data distribution solutions.
Gary grew up in Pottstown, PA, where he attended Pottstown High School. The school was one of the first in the country to offer a data processing curriculum, which Gary took advantage of in his senior year. He then started down the path of software development in 1977. Gary also enjoys playing golf and jamming on his guitar with friends. He often attends our user conferences, so please stop by the booth and say “hello” if you go.
